Munemoto is a relative of Souji, as they look a lot alike.
Both he and Kurobe might actually be Perennial Era characters. It could explain why Munemoto and Souji have a striking resemblance to each other; the former might be the latter's father. This would tie in with the "Kakariki is Souji's father" theory.
